Blackjack
Blackjack is a game of skill and chance between you and the Dealer. It is played with between one and six standard decks of cards, depending on the type of blackjack game you are playing. At Fortune Lounge casinos you can play many types of blackjack, including: Atlantic City, Vegas Downtown, Vegas Strip, Multi-hand and Spanish blackjack. These are all played using slightly different rules, but the basics of blackjack are the same.

The Aim Of The Game
The aim is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand (without exceeding 21) or by the Dealer's hand going bust. Blackjack is when your hand contains an Ace and a card with a value of ten. It is the strongest hand in Blackjack, and automatically stands. It cannot be beaten, only matched.

How To Play
All face cards - Jacks, Kings and Queens have a value of 10. Aces can have a value of either 1 or 11. You decide what value is more beneficial to your hand.

You may draw up to nine additional cards to make a hand of eleven cards, provided the value of your hand does not exceed 21. If your hand does not exceeded 21 after receiving eleven cards, your hand automatically stands, and the Dealer plays his hand. The Dealer stands on all hands with the value of 17 and draws on all hands with the value of 16.

When your hand and the Dealer's hand tie, it is called a Push. You are paid back your original bet. If both the Dealer and your hand have Blackjack, this is also considered a push and you are paid out your original bet amount. If the Dealer gets Blackjack after you have split or doubled, your entire bet - both the original and double or split amounts, are lost.

Roulette
Roulette is a game of chance and consists of a Roulette wheel and table. The Roulette wheel has numbered pockets ranging from 00 to 36.

The outcome of a game of Roulette is determined by where the ball stops on the wheel. Once the bets are placed on the table, a small ball is released on to the spinning wheel, in the opposite direction to the spin. The ball stops in one of the numbered pockets of the Roulette wheel.

How To Play Roulette
The objective of Roulette is to predict the number the ball will stop on. You place a bet on your prediction. You may place bets on any number or combination of numbers; on red or black; on odd or even; or even high or low. With the Fortune Lounge casino software you can even set an optimal betting strategy and let the software autoplay for you, using this strategy.

Different types of Roulette have developed over the years, and they offer the following variations:

American Roulette - uses a 0 and a 00
European Roulette - uses only a 0
French Roulette - 36 numbers and a single zero, in addition to a range of special wagers known as call bets.
Roulette Royale - incorporates a progressive jackpot

Baccarat
Baccarat is a game of chance and skill between you and the Banker. It is played with a single standard deck of 52 cards. There are three types of bets and the game odds are high.

The objective of the game is to predict whose hand, the Banker's or the Player's, will be closer to the value of nine. You can also bet on the possibility of a tie.

Hand Values
The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the total of the cards. The card values are:

Ace = 1
10 to King = 0
9 to 2 = the face value of the cards
If the total of a hand exceeds nine, the value of the hand is the "unit" portion of the total. For more information, see the examples below. If the hand you bet on wins, you are paid out according to the Payout Schedule.

Examples:
A hand consists of an Eight of Clubs and a Seven of Diamonds. The point values are 8 and 7, so the total of the hand is 8 + 7 = 15. As the "tens" portion of the total is ignored, the value of the hand is five.
A hand consists of a Nine of Spades, a Two of Hearts and a Nine of Diamonds. The point values are 9, 2 and 9, so the total of the hand is 9 + 2 + 9 = 20. As the "tens" portion of the total is ignored, the value of the hand is zero.
Winning
If the hand you bet on wins, you are paid out as follows:

If Banker's Hand Wins - You get 2x your bet, less 5% commission for the House
If Player's Hand Wins - You get 2x your bet
If the Hands Tie - You get 8x your bet

Craps
Craps is a game of chance and is played on a large sunken table with a pair of dice that are thrown by the Shooter.

The objective is to bet whether the Shooter will roll a winning combination.

How to Play
A game of Craps can consist of two distinct phases, the Coming Out phase and the Point phase.

In the Coming Out phase, the objective is to roll a seven or an eleven, while betting on the Pass Line. If you roll four, five, six, eight, nine or ten instead, a Point is established.

In the Point phase of the game, the objective is to roll the same number as the Point, before you roll a seven.
In both phases of the game, you can place various side bets.
